NBCC relies heavily on the volunteer efforts of local service organizations, high-school community service programs, retired seniors and local business leaders to serve on its committees and board, make site improvements, organize fundraising events, and help in classrooms and gardens. In addition, NBCC has been a worksite for the "Day of Caring" volunteers from Fireman's Fund, AIG, Rebuilding Together, and Novato Leadership. As a private non-profit community-based agency, NBCC is governed by a volunteer board of directors. The 15-member board is comprised of community leaders and representatives from NBCC's parent population.
Individuals or organizations wishing to volunteer for the North Bay Children's Center should contact Associate Director Jayne Johnson at (415) 883-6222.
