Site Supervisor
Minimum qualifications include: Site Supervisor Permit or higher issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and/or meets all the Community Care Licensing requirements for the Center Director position. Two years of child development Site Supervisor or Site Director experience required. Bilingual English/Spanish desirable but not necessary.
Head Teacher
The person selected for this position is required to possess a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher with 2 years teaching experience. Individuals who do not possess but qualify, must obtain a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit, or higher, within 6 months of NBCC employment. Bilingual English/Spanish desirable but not necessary.
Teacher
Minimum qualifications include: Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher with 1 years teaching experience ~ OR ~ Individuals can qualify with a minimum of 12 Early Childhood/Child Development CORE units with at least an 1 year teaching experience. Individuals who do not possess but qualify, must obtain a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit, or higher, within 6 months of NBCC employment.
Assistant Teacher
The person selected for this position is required to possess an “Assistant” Child Development Teaching Permit or higher with 6 months classroom experience. OR individuals can qualify with a minimum of 6 Early Childhood/Child Development CORE units with at least 6 months teaching experience. Individuals who do not possess but qualify, must obtain a Child Development Assistant Permit, or higher, within 6 months of NBCC employment.
